Voicemail - General


Voicemail - 4-Digit Mailboxes

4-digit mailboxes are associated directly with an extension. The mailbox and extension number will be the same. Calls to those extensions that are unanswered will be redirected to the associated mailbox.


Voicemail - 5-Digit Mailboxes

5-digit mailboxes are NOT associated with a specific extension. The mailbox number will start with an "8".

Accessing your voicemail from an office other than your own   

1.    Press the Message key.

2.    You will hear one of two messages. If you hear someone else’s name and to enter a password, press the * key. If you hear “Welcome to the message center…”, please dial your extension.

3.    When you hear your greeting, press the * key.

When prompted, enter your password.

Voicemail - Voice Menus

Voice menus are used to give the caller options to help direct the call. To establish, remove or change programming of a voice menu, please contact Helpdesk.

Note: The Exchange Server settings are case sensitive. Be sure to enter uppercase and lowercase letters properly.

iPhone Settings

  1. Tap the "Settings" icon on the iPhone's home screen
  2. Tap the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" option
  3. Tap your AASD Exchange mail account
  4. Tap where it says "Account" and has your email address listed
  5. Tap where it says "Password"
  6. Tap the backspace until your old password is deleted and then enter your new password
  7. Tap done once the password is entered

Android Settings

  1. From the Applications Menu, touch Email
  2. Tap your "Menu" button and select "Settings"
  3. Tap "Account settings"
  4. Tap your email address
  5. Tap "Password"
  6. Tap the backspace until your old password is deleted and then enter your new password
  7. Tap "OK"

Notes before you begin...

  • Mail server address = mail.aasd.k12.wi.us

  • Domain name = aasd.k12.wi.us

  • Our system requires SSL - so please accept all SSL certificates

  • Your username and password (these are the same as you use to login to the computer)


Note: The Exchange Server settings are case sensitive. Be sure to enter uppercase and lowercase letters properly.

  1. From the Applications Menu, touch Email.
  2. Type in your email address and password. Check the box only if you want this to be your default email account. Touch Next.
  3. Touch Exchange Account.
  4. Enter your Exchange Server information (see above) and touch Next.
    Note:
    Select "Accept all SSL certificates"
  5. Your phone will check the incoming server settings.
  6. If everything is correct, the Account Options screen will appear, allowing you to customize your account settings.
  7. Finally, you will be asked to name this account and enter the name that will be displayed on out going messages.
  8. Touch Done when complete.

  3. Tap "Add Account," then press the "Microsoft Exchange" option.
  4. Type the Exchange account email address into the space provided.
  5. Enter your Exchange account domain (aasd), username and password.
  6. Enter a description for the Exchange account in the space labeled "Description".
  7. Tap the "Next" button to connect to the Exchange server.
  8. Enter your Server (mail.aasd.k12.wi.us)
  9. Tap the sliders next to the "Mail," "Contacts" and "Calendars" options once the iPhone is connected to the Exchange server. You can enable or disable each options. Your iPhone will sync any option with a slider set to "ON" to the Exchange server.
  10. Tap "Save" to save the changes made to the Exchange server's options.
